Good movie. Stupid ending. Never heard of the books. JimCarrey did what he always does, and everyone else did a bang up job acting. 2 bad the ending of the story was horrid. The story moved along quite nicely, adding suspence and a enteresting mystery aspect to the backround. But in the end i didnt really care about the how the movie was goin to reveal the mystery of the baudelaires. The movie is just fun. The movie as a whole is quite enjoyable, just savor it while it lasts and close ur eyes during the ending. I did miss the first like 10 min though, so maybe their was valuable information their that may have made the backstory more interesting, but i didn't kno it so i didnt care about those eyeglasses. I liked all the kids, except the little one was a little 2 talk backy for me, even though she couldnt talk, it wasnt that funny people. the whole story was a good one and it really used jim's talents to the fullest. if u like jim u can find a way to enjoy this movie, however stupid the conclusion
